Do I qualify for a Civica reward?

To qualify for a Civica reward, you must have been nominated by a Civica staff member. You must have received an email containing a link to the Civica Rewards website. Please contact your HR manager for any other questions regarding the Civica Rewards Program.

How do I receive the reward?

  1. An email will be sent by rewards@civicarewards.com.au advising you have been given a reward by Civica.
  2. Visit civicarewards.com.au and choose your preferred reward and enter the Unique Code provided in the email. You have 3 months before this code expires.
  3. You will receive an email within 3 business days from CardNetwork containing a link to download your selected digital gift card.
  4. Follow the prompts to download your digital gift card onto your smartphone’s digital wallet.

It must be downloaded within three months after receiving the SMS and you will have 3 years to use your Digital Prepaid Mastercard.

What rewards can I get?

I haven’t received my gift card. What do I do?

Please allow up to 3 business days after submitting the form to receive your gift card. Don’t forget to check your junk/spam inbox. If it has been longer than three business days, please contact us at (www.civicarewards.com.au/contact-us)

How do I use/ activate my digital gift card?

Please follow below steps:

  1. Click the “Redeem Reward” button in the reward email you have received.
  2. Follow the instructions supplied by The Card Network via SMS
  3. Download the TCN app on your phone

  1. Add the gift card to your smartphone’s digital wallet;
  2. Use tap and go to redeem funds wherever Mastercard is accepted. A PIN also allows your card to be used for online transactions.

My phone doesn’t have a digital wallet.

Consider gifting the digital gift cards to a family member or friend. Before it is downloaded you will need to forward the SMS to their mobile number, then they can then follow the instructions to download the digital gift cards.

Do I need to spend the full value of my digital gift card in one transaction or with one retailer?

No. You can choose how and where you spend the funds on your digital gift cards. Any remaining balance after a transaction will remain on your digital gift cards if it has not reached its expiry date.

How do I check my balance?

You can check your balance via the TCN mobile app.

If my transaction is greater than the amount on my digital gift card, can I pay the rest with cash or credit card?

Yes, you can. You may need to request a split payment from the cashier.

Can I reload my digital gift card?

No, digital gift cards are not reloadable.

What if my Digital Prepaid Mastercard is not accepted for payment?

Please check the following reasons why your Digital Prepaid Mastercard may not be working:

  1. The transaction may exceed the balance on the Digital Prepaid Mastercard. Check your balance via the TCN mobile app.
  2. Your Digital Prepaid Mastercard has expired. You must use your Digital Prepaid Mastercard within 3 years of activation.

What happens if I have not used the entire value of my digital gift card and it has expired?

Once the digital gift card has expired, the remaining value will no longer be available.

What do I do if my gift card is stolen, lost or is damaged?

Digital gift cards should be treated like cash and kept in a secure place. Unfortunately, we cannot replace a gift card under any circumstances.

Qualifying recipients must claim their reward from the microsite civicarewards.com.au using the unique code within the reward email received.

Allow up to three business days for your gift card to be sent to you.

All gift cards are digital and carry three years expiry from the date they are issued.

One gift card per person per unique code.

Gift cards will only be issued to an approved email address which has been supplied by Civica.
